What has happened with the music?

What has happened to the really good music? Ok I know I may be a bit on the young side to ask this but with an Uncle who was and is trying to be a DJ again you get to hear a bunch of music. Now I am probably at fault as everyone else is with listening to so called "bad music" but seriously do people even listen to what they are hearing? On the way home from the mall today a song comes on about robbing a jewelry store and telling them to make the rapper a grill. of course I'm in the back with my little brother up in the front seat not willing to change the station. So I'm in the back actually listening to the lyrics. one of the lyrics went something like this: call me george forman and I can sell you a bunch of grills well something along those lines. I mean really!! so yes all I want to know is what happened to the "good music" I just hope when and if I make it to the music buisness that the music will change or I can make a difference with my own...

Dear Miley

Dear Miley,
while flipping through channels tonight I saw your live london show on ABC. You were wearing what looked like shorts but I'm not really sure what they were. I also noticed the racy dance moves and your dancers racy outfits and how you can't really sing that well. Now I know this is live and everyone has they're days but it kinda made me cringe. I also have seen your latest music video just out of curiousity to see what the person I use to like was up to and wondering if you went back to the days I used to like you but no I saw you in a bird cage and singing lyrics not at all what I think your younger fans should hear one of their role models sing. I know you have said in an interview that you wanted to grow up and get away from your disney roots but you can't go to far from them because that's how you became a house hold name. I just wish you would think of your younger fans and sometimes I wish your younger fans parents would notice how you've "grown up". On a brighter note however your movie The Last Song was actually pretty good and I would possibly consider getting it when it comes out on DVD and that will be one of my guilty plessures.

Hmmm what to write what to write...I honestly don't know what to write for this one without going on this rant...I know I said I would only write Pre-Song Post for random songs but I think it's really important for ya'll to understand the song and the reasons why I wrote it...well this song is full of metaphors well maybe not really if you know what I'm talking about but still...well I'm just babbling now so I'm gonna stop...hope you enjoy the song!
