What has happened to the really good music? Ok I know I may be a bit on the young side to ask this but with an Uncle who was and is trying to be a DJ again you get to hear a bunch of music. Now I am probably at fault as everyone else is with listening to so called "bad music" but seriously do people even listen to what they are hearing? On the way home from the mall today a song comes on about robbing a jewelry store and telling them to make the rapper a grill. of course I'm in the back with my little brother up in the front seat not willing to change the station. So I'm in the back actually listening to the lyrics. one of the lyrics went something like this: call me george forman and I can sell you a bunch of grills well something along those lines. I mean really!! so yes all I want to know is what happened to the "good music" I just hope when and if I make it to the music buisness that the music will change or I can make a difference with my own...

Lol this is Sarah... and I agree with what chu sayin' girl... I mean think of the 90's... We have so many classics that turned us into our modern rock and pop... and the music was just good to listen to... today its all this rap shit... Did you know pop and rock was such a struggle to get in the 50's and 60's that people would dock on boats in the ocean and broadcast rock and pop to us... I mean thats some intense shit... and rap isn't revolutionary... doesn't convey anything of importance... but promoting bands like Shiny Toy Guns, the Fratellis, and Arctic Monkeys show how we've grown from those times... not shamed our ancestors who worked so hard to give us that good music!
