I Want to Write a New Song BUT...

Here's the thing, I want to write a new song but I have a few worries about writing it. (side note: I kinda like what I did there with the beginning, maybe I'll do that more often it was kinda cool.) I want to write a song with a title like Back to Reality since a thing I always say is that I live in my own little world. Since I feel as though I still live in this totally awesome get away world I'm thinking maybe along the lines of When Will I Get Back? and maybe use an Alice and Wonderland metaphor through out. The thing is my songs are LOADED with Teen Angst! (side note: Am I really that angst-y (if that's even a word)) So I don't want it to be another angst-y song. I also feel as though I've heard Oh so you'll be the next Taylor Swift so many times and I just nod and smile. Nothing against the girl because I feel as though I could like her as a person but the girl is a poster child for auto tune and teen angst since that is ALL her songs are about boys and heart ache. (side note: no offense to the girl) (side note 2: I wonder what she'll write about Jake Gyllenhaal [spell?]) So I don't want to have YET another song that sounds that way. Maybe it will change once I put music to it which btw I got a guitar for christmas and I so can't wait to learn how to play and put music to my lyrics. So yeah...that's pretty much it and I'm sure this whole thing sounds whiny and teen angst-y. So if you have any suggestions leave 'em in the comments box or whatever.
