New Beginnings

We are on again off again back and forth my friends say that you're no good but my heart says something different we've had the summer apart and now school is coming around and I feel as if we could have a new beginning you walk down the hall with a new girl on your arm but when you passed by me I could hear your heart skip a beat and I knew right then and there my heart was right the very next day you found me by our tree you held my hands and looked me in the eyes and said this year its gonna be bout me and you you kissed me on the cheeck and walked away when I got home I layed upon my bed I knew the words that you said were true and that it was going to be a new beginning between me and you right before I turned out the lights when my phone began to ring and we ended up staying up all night having one of our late night conversations after we hung up I went to sleep with a smile on my face and a sparkle in my eye knowing our new beginning had just begun
